I have been working at Eastwood City for almost three years now and I must say that the place is very accessible. One place for me to work, dine, and shop. Working at this place contributed a lot to my work-life balance. Whenever I need to shop after work, I don’t have to go anywhere else. If our team will be having a team building, we always consider activities that we can do around Eastwood City so that we don’t have to spend time going somewhere else. Megaworld did a great job in developing the country’s first IT park. Eastwood City has proven itself a successful “LIVE-WORK-PLAY-LEARN-SHOP” formula.
Last January, Megaworld at the Fort threw the social media event of the season and I was one of the lifestyle bloggers who got an invite. I am not really familiar with McKinley since I only got there for a few times. I got lost because the cab driver dropped me somewhere far from the event venue and the guards were not so helpful. While my fellow bloggers were given tours on the McKinley Hill showroom, I was finding my way to the venue.
An extensive Asian themed buffet and overflowing wine was served while we were listening to the entertaining and informative presentation on Megaworld at the Fort.
During the presentation, I learned that Megaworld was founded by Dr. Andrew L. Tan. It is the Philippine’s largest residential condominium developer and business process outsourcing office developer and landlord. It has an unprecedented track record of completing more than 300 residential buildings, office towers, commercial centers and world-class hotels since 1994.
With its reputation as a professionally managed corporation as well as an innovator and first mover in the real estate industry, Megaworld has received numerous awards from prestigious organizations over the last 20 years.
The company’s “LIVE-WORK-PLAY-LEARN-SHOP” lifestyle concept has been replicated in the townships of Newport City, home to Resorts World Manila in Pasay; and also in Manhattan Garden City located in Cubao. Soon to join these communities will be the Mactan Newtown in Cebu and the Iloilo Business Park.
The Fort will experience the world class community produced by this winning formula, on a higher scale. Megaworld at the Fort replicates its blueprint within its township properties – Forbes Town Center, McKinley Hill and Uptown Bonifacio – with additional elements to fit Manila’s newest CBD.
Strategic location, global inspiration, intelligent design, profitable investment, and complete community. These elements together consolidate the townships developed by Megaworld as premier real estate choices.
The Fort comprises the focal point of Megaworld’s latest ventures as a truly global city with extensive growth potential, increasing property values and unlimited opportunities. This area offers world class healthcare and education; finest dining, nightlife and luxury options Manila has to offer. A feast for the senses at every stop, the Fort boasts endless restaurant choices and Manila’s hottest bars and nightclubs as well as the city’s most exclusive country clubs. You will also find the world’s top business and commercial establishment’s head offices and premier branches in the vicinity.
After the presentation, they gave away some raffle prizes which included umbrellas and gift certificates to various popular dining and leisure establishments. I won an umbrella. The also announce the winners of the hashtag competition (#MegaworldattheFort).
We were given a bottle of wine at the end of the event.
I would like to thank and congratulate Megaworld for this successful event and for many successful projects. It was fun and I learned how awesome this company is. I am looking forward to your next projects.
Special thanks to Joey of sadakobear.wordpress.com for sending me an invite. .^_^.
