Hey Lovelies! I know it’s been a while since I last updated my blog ‘coz I’ve been too busy with other stuff lately and I wasn’t able to include blogging in my to-do list. I really missed it though. I wanna blog all the stuff I’m doing but I just can’t find time. There are pretty amazing things happened these past months and I am really happy to share with you what’s happening in my life lately.
I started to be into arts lately, adult coloring books, calligraphy, watercolor, pressing flowers, and some other art stuff. I hoarded A LOT of art materials. I haven’t even used some of them. I guess I just love collecting art materials. They’re so colorful and I love seeing them.
One item in my bucket list is to paint the Eiffel Tower and I was so happy that I finally crossed that item off my bucket list. Yay!
Like what I’ve told you, I hoarded A LOT of art materials.
I got addicted collecting flowers and pressing them ever since I joined the Art of Pressed Flowers workshop by Mikko Sumulong of I Try DIY. I went to Dangwa twice to do some flower shopping and I really love it! I will be doing again it soon.
I also joined Calligraphy and Botanical Watercolor workshop by Alessa Lanot of Life After Breakfast. I’m still having a hard time doing Calligraphy but I started to love watercolor ever since I joined the workshop. So here are some of my artworks.
Late last year, I started climbing mountains. Another item off my bucket list! Super YAY! It was a great experience and after my first climb, I wanna climb MORE!
The first mountain I conquered was Mt. Batulao located at Nasugbu, Batangas. It’s 811 meters above sea level.
Second was Mt. Talamitam , also at Nasugbu, Batangas. It’s 630 meters above sea level.
For the third and also my first climb for 2016, it’s Mt. Balagbag traverse Maranat Falls. Mt. Balagbag is 777 meters above sea level. This is by far the most challenging climb I experienced in a day.
And finally, the fourth mountain I climbed and by far the most amazing experience EVER was Mt. Pulag. I know it’s too mainstream nowadays but it was in my bucket list for such a long time. So yeah, I survived Mt. Pulag and lucky me, I was able to witness the amazing Sea of Clouds! Super duper YAY!
Check this out for my short video in Mt. Pulag: Katie at Mt. Pulag: 15 Seconds Above The Clouds
One last thing I want to share is our recent trip to Ilocos. Just like Mt. Pulag, this had been in my bucket list for such a long time. I am so happy that I finally explored Ilocos.
How about you guys, what are you up to lately? Hope you enjoyed checking out photos from my recent trips. ‘Til next time.
