2013 was a great year for me. The year when I had my first travel abroad, the year when I launched this blog and attended my first ever blogger event. Aside from makeup, running and blogging, that year, I also realized how much I love photography, specifically, Mobile Photography. So to start my 2014 right, I decided to take my own version of the 365 Days Photo Challenge.
Aside from makeup, beauty boxes, travel, running and joining giveaways, I also love gift wrapping. I usually wrap gifts only during Christmas Season and I really love exerting extra effort for that. Buying materials is the hardest part because I want my gift wrap to be unique, so I have to find a unique paper and other materials. Once I already have the materials, it would be a lot easier for me to think of ways on how my gift wrap will look unique and more presentable. Today, I would love to share to you, my lovely readers, on how I made a DIY Cosmetic Organizer and Jewelry Box using my BDJ boxes. I am a BDJ Box subscriber since last year, and I kept all the boxes I'd got from the previous months. I've bee thinking of ways on how will I be able to re-use my boxes for quite a long time now. Good thing I was able to watch Nicole Romero's, DIY: Recycle Your BDJ Box Into A Kikay Kit.

Another Beauty Box that I am currently subscribed with is Glamourbox. Unlike the other Beauty Box Subscriptions here in the Philippines, they are not releasing boxes every month. It started last May. I got an email from them, informing me that they will no longer release monthly boxes. They do inform me whenever they are releasing a new box though. They released a new box for the month of September. Glamourbox September 2013: Beauty SOS was delivered on the last week of the month.

I have been working at Eastwood City for almost three years now and I must say that the place is very accessible. One place for me to work, dine, and shop. Working at this place contributed a lot to my work-life balance. Whenever I need to shop after work, I don't have to go anywhere else. If our team will be having a team building, we always consider activities that we can do around Eastwood City so that we don't have to spend time going somewhere else. Megaworld did a great job in developing the country's first IT park. Eastwood City has proven itself a successful "LIVE-WORK-PLAY-LEARN-SHOP" formula.
Last January, Megaworld at the Fort threw the social media event of the season and I was one of the lifestyle bloggers who got an invite. I am not really familiar with McKinley since I only got there for a few times. I got lost because the cab driver dropped me somewhere far from the event venue and the guards were not so helpful. While my fellow bloggers were given tours on the McKinley Hill showroom, I was finding my way to the venue.
When I woke up last Saturday, I was surprised to see that my October BDJ Box had arrived. I was not expecting it to come anytime soon because usually, BDJ Box gives us updates through their FB page whenever they will be shipping the box of the month. It was indeed, a very lovely surprise. :)
October BDJ Box is a Maybelline New York exclusive BDJ Box. Six different boxes were released, Sugar n Spice, Runway Rock, Scene Stealer, Femme Fatale, Queen of Extreme and Wild Thing. I got the Wild Thing but I wished they've given me the Queen of Extreme instead because I really want to try out the new Maybelline mascara, The Rocket, which is included inside that box.
